Classic stripes get a fresh, new look with our JH x Tensira Kendall Pillows. These timeless throw pillows were created in collaboration with Tensira — a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife team that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing techniques. We dreamed up Kendall’s simple yet unexpected design in-house, drawing on vintage French ticking and the varied band sizes found on India’s traditional striped dhurrie rugs. Tensira’s team of skilled craftswomen then brought our design to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and indigo-dyeing methods that have been passed down for generations. Finally, we finished them off with plush down and feather pillows for soft, sink-in comfort. The perfect mix of European elegance and global authenticity, just one of our Kendall Pillows would be great for adding a pop of pattern to a favorite armchair. We also love them layered with our other JH x Tensira Pillows on a sofa or bed for an effortlessly chic feel.
