Opened in 1961 by a trio of creative friends, Diptyque began as a small storefront bazaar that showcased the founders’ signature printed fabrics and wallpapers. But after just a few years, following the introduction of their fragrances, the Paris-based company had quickly grown into a luxury perfumer that’s now loved the world over. Today, the Diptyque Candle Collection pays tribute to the beauty of nature with distinctive, evocative fragrances, which are crafted from carefully chosen raw materials. These natural fragrances are combined with plant-based waxes, custom blended for each candle to complement its singular scent. Poured into handmade clear glass jars, each candle is finished with the company’s iconic oval label. The perfect gift or, more indulgently, gift to self, choose from twenty-one enchanting scents.

FEU DE BOIS: warm and sophisticated blend of rare wood essences
BAIES: a blend of floral rose and black currant leaves
AMBRE: vetiver and patchouli, aniseed, insolent spices, incense, cistus and tonka bean
MAQUIS: a mix of cistus shrub essence, patchouli and amber
FIGUIER: a blend of green and wood notes with crushed fig leaves
GARDENIA: classic floral fragrance, reminiscent of white flowers and jasmine
CHOISYA: orange flower with a bitter-sweet scent
SANTAL: woody fragrance of sandalwood
FEUILLE DE LAVANDE: sweet flowers and refreshing green leaves
MENTHE VERTE: extreme freshness with a hint of spice
ROSES: garden roses blended with crushed pot pourri petals
PATCHOULI: neither completely woody nor completely herbal
OUD: woodsy, oriental incense, patchouli and sandalwood
LYS: fresh, green fragrance of sap and leaves mixed with sweet and delicate spicy lilies
NARGUILE: tobacco leaves with hints of sweet honey and and warm spices
TUBEREUSE: a sensuous, heady scent that is strong and flowery
BENJOIN: warm, carmelized benzoin resin mixed with notes of woody patchouli and Indian cypriol and dry bark
EUCALYPTUS: fresh eucalyptus leaves and bark mixed with notes of bright camphor
JASMIN: fresh, intoxicating scent of delicate jasmine blossoms
GERANIUM ROSA: sweet-scented blooms and sharp, citrusy leaves of rose geraniums
