These natural beauties come to us from Portugal, where each one was crafted from unique burls found on native cork trees. Every nine years, these ancient trees are stripped of their bark (and any organically-formed burls), which will grow back over the course of the next decade — making these sustainable vessels rather rare and special. Even better, they’re antibacterial and non-absorbent, making them perfect for serving up everything from snacks and apps to the main course. Outside of the dining room, we also love them as sculptural catchall dishes or as the base for cut feather moss and a delicate orchid.
