The story starts in Marrakech, where each candle was crafted by a mother and son team from a luxe soy wax blend and scented with notes of fresh leaves and sweet fruits meant to evoke a day spent relaxing in the shade of a North African fig tree. While we instantly fell for this enchanting fragrance, the truth is it’s only half of what makes these candles as special as they are. Each one is also poured into an authentic beldi glass, which was handblown in Marrakech by a local artisan using recycled glass found in the surrounding area. Traditionally used for serving Morocco’s famed mint tea, it turns out these pretty little vessels also make lovely votive holders thanks to their pale aqua-tinted hues and their charmingly unique shapes. (Not to mention they can be reused for a myriad of purposes once your candles have burned through!)
