Made from super-soft silk velvet, Kip is crafted following traditional ikat techniques — a centuries-old resist-dyeing process that originated in Central Asia. In this method, threads are wrapped around a framed and individually tied off with pigment-resistant palm fibers before dyeing and weaving. With each new dye color, fibers are added or removed to create a colorful and uniquely intricate motif. Bold and vibrant, Kip is patterned with chic leopard spots in black and cool slate blue on a cream-colored ground. We’ve finished it with neutral linen backing, a hidden zipper closure and a plush down and feather insert. Perfect for bringing an unexpected pop of animal print to modern and boho spaces alike, our Kip Pillow will stand out all on its own but also looks great mixed in with a few of our other ikat pillows for an eclectic feel.
