These beauties were created in collaboration with Tensira — a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife duo that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing techniques. We dreamt up their three distinctive designs in-house, taking our inspiration from classic motifs that we encountered on our world travels. Tensira’s team of skilled craftswomen then brought our designs to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and indigo-dyeing methods that have been passed down for generations. The perfect mix of European elegance and global authenticity, our JH x Tensira Totes Bags’ fresh, summery color palettes and simple, timeless prints give them a goes-with-anything appeal, while their comfortable shoulder straps and small interior pocket make them wonderfully practical.
