Stunning in composition, our serene Tivoli Mountainscape captures the hilly highlands that lie between Rome and the ancient town of Tivoli. Looking every bit like a one-of-a-kind original, this idyllic scene is actually a reproduction of a study done by the Flemish painter Simon Denis, which he later used as the background for a late 18th-century landscape painting. We’ve displayed this piece without glass in a black frame with gilded interior edges for a subtle touch of shine. Perfect propped up on a floating shelf and layered with other art and antiques, we also love our Tivoli Mountainscape mixed in with some of our other vintage-inspired works for a gallery wall with a sense of history.
